Case Studies:
As part of the
Project's goal to encourage discussion at Harvard University of
issues relating to societies in transition and new democracies, it
commissions and supervises the
development of case studies focused on specific policy challenges
faced in these contexts.
Conference
Reports:
Most
of the Project's initiatives are documented through a report
summarizing the main points discussed at the meeting. These
reports offer readers a glimpse into the key debates that
shape the issues confronted by political and community leaders in a
variety of post-conflict and transitional settings.
Recommendations:
Some of
the Project's programs are designed to facilitate the
development of recommendations based on lessons learned by
practitioners working on particular aspects of the
reconstruction and democratization field. When possible, the Project makes
summaries of these recommendations available to the
public.
Working
Papers::
The Project has commissioned papers to help stimulate and
shape the debate that takes place at its programs. These
working papers offer insight into how practitioners have addressed the challenges
of peace-building and democratization.
